Asset Management Consultant – Industrial Projects Praha

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering, Asset Management, or related field.


• 5+ years in asset management/reliability/maintenance in industrial plants (energy, O&G, utilities, chemical, manufacturing, or infrastructure).


• Strong knowledge of ISO 55000/55001, RCM, risk-based maintenance, and reliability engineering.


• Hands-on with EAM/CMMS (SAP PM, Maximo, Infor), plus integration to ERP/SCADA/MES historians.


• Proficiency in data analysis (Excel/SQL/Python), KPI design, and BI tools (Power BI/Tableau).


• Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and change management skills.


• Strong written/verbal communication with the ability to translate technical insights for executives.



Preferred Qualifications:



Experience with predictive analytics, digital twins, and advanced condition monitoring.

• Sector experience in energy (thermal, renewables, T&D), oil & gas

(upstream/midstream/downstream), utilities, chemicals, or heavy manufacturing.

• Familiarity with IEC/ISO standards for reliability, safety, and electrical/mechanical assets.

Key Responsibilities

1) Strategy & Governance

• Develop asset management strategies and policies aligned with ISO 55001 and

corporate objectives.

• Design asset governance (roles, decision rights, KPIs, assurance) across

operations, maintenance, engineering, and finance.

• Facilitate maturity assessments and roadmap creation (current vs. target state,

quick wins, multi-year plan).

2) Lifecycle Planning

• Build lifecycle models (planning, replacement, and refurbishment), capturing

capex/opex trade-offs.

• Implement risk-based and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM/RBM)

approaches.

• Develop asset criticality ranking and condition assessment methodologies.

3) Performance & Reliability

• Analyze asset performance (failure modes, MTBF/MTTR, availability, OEE) to identify

improvement levers.

• Set up Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) and Predictive Maintenance

programs (vibration, thermography, oil analysis).

• Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and defect elimination; embed continuous

improvement cycles.

4) Data, Digital & EAM Enablement

• Define data architecture for EAM/CMMS (SAP PM/EAM, IBM Maximo, Infor EAM) and

interoperability with ERP, SCADA/DCS, MES.

• Enable IoT/Industry 4.0 analytics (sensorization, historian data, digital twins,

anomaly detection).

• Design practical dashboards and KPI suites (Power BI/Tableau) for executives and

plant teams.

5) Planning, Cost & Risk

• Develop risk and reliability models (probabilistic risk, RAM, Weibull analysis, spare

strategy).

• Optimize maintenance plans, shutdown/turnaround scope, spare parts inventory,

and contractor mix.

• Build capital planning cases and long-term Asset Investment Plans (AIPs) with

NPV/IRR and risk sensitivity.

6) Compliance, Safety & ESG

• Ensure alignment with process safety, regulatory requirements, and auditability

(documentation, evidence trails).

• Support ESG and sustainability targets (energy efficiency, emissions, circularity in

replacement/repair decisions).

• Advise on cybersecurity and data governance for operational technologies.

7) Change Management & Delivery

• Run workshops, training, and coaching for client teams (maintenance, reliability,

engineering, operations).

• Manage pilot projects, track benefits realization, and hand over robust standards

and procedures.

• Prepare executive-level reports, business cases, and board presentations.

Provide expert advisory to industrial clients on optimizing the lifecycle performance of

physical assets—improving reliability, safety, availability, and total cost of ownership. You

will assess asset portfolios, design and implement ISO 55000-aligned frameworks, deploy

digital/EAM solutions, and drive measurable improvements in maintenance, risk, and

capital planning.
